If its consensual, and he is discreet about his gay escapades, well, what more can you ask? If he had a medical problem, and needed fresh s***m topically applied to get healing, that's just medicine. As for your totally unjustified sniping at Danny Shelton, so what if he needed new threads? Being on TV, its probably necessary to be a little flamboyant. And if the worst allegation you can make is that he got a quicky offshore divorce so he could get a younger, fresher woman, well, WELCOME TO REALITY!!!! That sort of thing goes on every day. There's an executive jet. So what? Lots of executives have them. I personally get along with minimalist furniture (and not much of it, either) from IKEA, but maybe Shelton is getting old and needs more comfortable sofas. And if the ministry pays for new furniture for Danny Shelton's crib, well, so what? Maybe he holds 3abn meetings in his living room. If you think you can run a positive ministry better than these Sheltons, go ahead and try. But its extremely unfair of you to try to tear down the work over trifles, when you have nothing better to offer. Also, remember that when the cup is half empty, its also half full. At least no one is accusing Danny of being gay. No one accuses Ms. Firestone of being a lesbo. So there are plenty of positive things going on in the 3abn family. You claim that Danny is not open and transparent. We'll see if you are any better. Will you have the guts to publish this letter and respond to it, or will you just keep on sniping from the hedges? Alfred Smith p.s. What in the world does it have to do with Christian Ministry if Danny has sex with 1000 women (like Solomon "the Wisest" and author of Proverbs), or just one? He even seems to marry them all just like Solomon did, so it has to be biblical. And if he has a few "concubines" on the side, well, didn't Solomon have hundreds?? And as for his gay brother, you should pray for that deviant. If its a matter of daemonic possession, cast the daemons out, but don't just sit on the sidelines and criticize.

Thank you for your rather interesting view of what you will publicly tolerate for a supporting ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church. Unfortunately, this ministry claims to proclaim the undiluted Three Angels Messages and maintains publicly that it is to counteract the counterfeit. What you promulgate would most certainly constitute a counterfeit. As to Tommy there are clear allegations relating to physical contact with underage children. The implications are clear and in fact the Seventh-day Adventist Church is not supportive of Gay or Lesbian lifestyles. And we can ask that he be in charge of something other than SDA programming or vote with our wallets. Information is a wonderful way to provide consumers and giftors an opportunity to make intelligent choices. As to the divorce issue, since the ministry clearly advocates the TEN Commandments, if he was responsible for a quicky offshore divorce so he could get a younger, fresher woman, as you have concluded, then given the standards of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, this would constitute adultery and a clear public violation of the seventh commandment. A supporting ministry of the SDA church should not exhibit and tolerate such behaviour. And a public violation of the seventh commandment is hardly a trifle for a person who has written the book Ten Commandments Twice Removed!!! And we have a constitutional right and an ecclesiastical duty to report what we have discovered. And we are far from being finished. If, in fact, it is determined that the entity is best described as Danny Lee Shelton d/b/a Three Angels Broadcasting Network, Inc., a personal and proprietary business, then the stockholders in the pews that have funded such an alleged hoax for nearly 20 years have a right to be so informed and make an informed decision regarding where they wish to send their gifts, offerings and tithes. In that case, since it is also the recipient of rather significant ASI grants each year under the pretentious premise it is a supporting ministry of the SDA church, then again, the public has a right to know. And further, the fundamental issues here will be the right to free speech, freedom of the press and the free practice of religion as each contributor may elect, given that he is fully informed. Therefore, we shall be happy to post your letter, with our response, and let the stockholders have even further reason to be outraged, but tolerant, of your non-SDA views.
